Dr. Daniel Johnstone

Chiropractor

Dr. Daniel Johnstone graduated as a Chiropractor from RMIT University in 2012, and has practised throughout Australia, New Zealand and the UK, but has called Adelaide home since 2016.

In 2017 he received his honours degree in psychological science, and is currently undertaking a PhD that he plans to finish in 2025.

With an enjoyment of lifelong learning, DJ prioritises developing knowledge and skill sets that allow him to best serve the people he treats, and ensures his standard of care is always patient-centered.

From acute injury management, to rehabilitation, chronic pain, or enhancing performance, DJ is committed to working with anyone to get the best outcomes possible.

As an enthusiastic runner (particularly marathons), DJ is always keen to work with those looking to get the most from their running performance, whether that be training for a specific goal, a race, or simply for the enjoyment of running. He also plans to undertake his Level 1 running coaching certification in 2024.

DJ works as a faculty member for the Australian Chiropractic College teaching anatomy, neuroanatomy, musculoskeletal assessment, and ‘critical thinking in healthcare’.

He also dedicates some of his time working in the cancer advocacy space as a public speaker, guest lecturer for students in various healthcare disciplines, as a director for CancerVoices SA, and chair of an advisory group to the Bragg Proton Therapy Centre in Adelaide.

In his spare time you will find DJ training for his next marathon, reading a book on his kindle, or unwinding with an audiobook or podcast.
