Our approach
As both a science and clinical practice, psychology has a wide range of applications aimed at enhancing the quality of human life and experience.
Therapeutic psychological practice includes assessing clients’ concerns and life circumstances, and offering support, advice and treatment to address the issues that are brought into the psycho-therapeutic session.
Psychologists can draw upon a rich and diverse range of theoretical models and frameworks in which to understand the clients’ presenting issues.
An intuitive, well-informed and skilled psychologist will have a variety of evidence-based interventions and techniques available to offer the client as they work together in the pursuit of efficacious and measurable outcomes.
Furthermore, a basic assumption of modern psychology and especially in the field of those who study the brain, is the acceptance of the mind-body connection. This is referred to as mind-body science, a growing field of psychological research informing clinical applications.
“The body and mind are not separate. What affects one, affects the other.”
