Kate is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Sports Dietitian with 20 years experience. She loves to work with individuals and sporting teams to meet their health, fitness and performance goals and to improve your eating experience and develop a good relationship with food. Her nutrition philosophy is to give you a tool kit to allow flexibility and enjoyment in food while meeting your individual needs.
Kate’s interest in Dietetics grew from a childhood filled with activity and exposure to the health and medical fields through her parent’s careers. Kate continues to enjoy an active lifestyle with a background in competitive netball and basketball and attending a CrossFit gym regularly. She also has 3 young active children and an active husband and enjoys applying her nutrition philosophy to their family life.
Keeping up to date with evidenced-based practice maintains the quality of Kate’s dietetic practice. Kate is a member of Sport’s Dietitians Australia and the Dietitians Association of Australia.
