Penelope believes that the therapeutic relationship is a unique connection that can inspire us to try new things to move in a better direction again.
There are two fundamental aspects of the creative process of change that go hand in hand:
- Deconstruction
Experiencing relief from letting go of what no longer serves you, e.g. concepts, beliefs, emotions, thoughts, behaviours.
- Construction
Building your positivity, seeing things differently, and feeling more aligned with who you really are. This naturally increases your satisfaction, clarity & wellbeing in daily life.
No matter what is happening in your life, once you have integrated some positive changes, your challenges can become turning points for more satisfaction and fulfillment .
Penelope’s professional knowledge and experience has included working in Adelaide and Sydney, Australia, in Business, Health and Education in the public and private sectors of the community.
She uses a range of different therapies including Positive Psychology, Neuropsychotherapy, Mindfulness Cognitive Behaviour Therapies (MCBTs) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
