Shae Partington

Exercise Physiologist

Shae Partington graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours) in 2022 and joins the Connect Healthcare team with over six years’ experience working within gym and sporting environments. She has worked with a diverse range of clients ranging from 12 to 94(!) years of age, and has a keen interest in chronic disease management, women’s health, sports performance and injury prevention. Shae enjoys working with NDIS and healthy populations for strength & conditioning guidance and loves watching her clients achieve their health and fitness goals.

Shae is a country girl at heart and is originally from Tumby Bay. For as long as she can remember, sport has been her passion – she has played almost every sport under the sun and lives a very active lifestyle. She currently is in her third year of playing for the Glenelg Tigers in the SANFLW competition, and values the social outlet and healthy lifestyle team sport provides.

Shae is available to help clients reach their health and fitness goals who may present with:

  • Diabetes
  • Osteoporosis/osteopenia and arthritis
  • Cardiovascular, neurological and respiratory conditions
  • Cancer
  • Obesity
  • Acute/chronic musculoskeletal pain
  • Depression and other mental health conditions

Shae enjoys being able to share her knowledge and passion for exercise through prescribing individualised exercise programs for her clients, whilst encouraging self-management and long-term behaviour change. She also appreciates being able to work alongside other allied health professionals to expand her knowledge as a clinician.

In her spare time, you will find Shae at the beach, going on coffee dates with friends or taking her Aussie Shepherd doggo ‘Beau’ to the Oaklands Road Dog Park.
