Understand your fitness
VO₂ max is one of the most meaningful ways to understand your fitness and overall health.
It reflects how efficiently your body uses oxygen during exercise – giving insight into how your heart, lungs and muscles perform together under load.
Whether your goal is performance, general health, or longevity, this gives you a clear baseline to work from.
Who is this for?
VO2 max testing is relevant for a wide range of people, not just athletes. You might benefit if you:
Want to train with more clarity and direction
Are a runner, cyclist or regularly exercising and want to improve performance
Feel like you've plateaued and need more structure
Are returning to exercise after time off or injury
Like having objective data to guide your decisions
Are proactive about your long-term health
Are looking to improve performance
Are working on your cardiovascular or metabolic health
What to expect
Your VO₂ max test is performed as a graded exercise test on a treadmill or stationary bike.
You’ll wear a comfortable mask connected to our analyser, allowing us to measure your breathing, oxygen use, and heart rate in real time as the intensity gradually increases.
The test continues until you reach your limit, giving us an accurate measure of your true aerobic capacity and clearly defined training zones.
Our team will guide you through the entire process so you feel comfortable, informed and supported throughout.
What you’ll get
Your VO2 max result explained in plain language
Personalised training zones based on your physiology
Insight into your aerobic and anaerobic thresholds
A clear understanding of your current strengths and limitations
Practical guidance on how to train moving forward
Your results aren't just numbers - they're designed to be used. We can apply them to guide your training, support performance goals, or track progress over time with repeat testing.
Why it matters
VO₂ max isn’t just about performance.
Higher levels are strongly linked to better cardiovascular health, improved energy and reduced risk of chronic disease.
It’s one of the most useful markers we have for understanding both current fitness and long-term health.
If you want a clear understanding of where you’re at, and what to do next, this is a strong place to start!
