Tom Gehling graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2017 and has been working in private practice ever since. Tom has professional experience utilising evidence-based research to inform his exercise assessment and prescription for chronic disease management, achieving health goals and optimal performance. His aim in practice is to provide a patient-centred approach to ensure individual success.
With special interests in rigorous exercise testing/assessment and cardiovascular, metabolic and respiratory physiology, he is very excited to work in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team at Connect Healthcare in 2020.
Looking to further his specialisation, Tom is currently also completing his Masters by Research within Exercise Physiology, specifically looking at the association between exercise and cardiovascular function in individuals with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
