Genevieve Zlatkovc

Exercise Physiologist

Genevieve Zlatkovic is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology and a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science from Flinders University.

She has a strong interest in endurance performance, strength training, load management and chronic disease management. Genevieve is particularly passionate about endurance sport and the important role resistance training plays in athletic performance. She enjoys helping clients use structured, progressive exercise – including periodisation and load management – to build capacity, reduce injury risk and work towards meaningful health or sporting goals.

Her background includes experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, healthy ageing, cardiac rehabilitation and cardiovascular testing. Her Masters research focused on sedentary behaviour in older adults during hospitalisation, reflecting her interest in helping people maintain strength, mobility and independence across different stages of life.

Before becoming an Exercise Physiologist, Genevieve worked as a Cardiac Physiologist, developing skills in ECGs, cardiac stress testing and cardiovascular monitoring.

At Connect Healthcare, Genevieve supports clients with exercise rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, chronic disease management and performance-focused exercise programs.

Outside of work, Genevieve is an active member within Adelaide’s cycling community, volunteering with the Norwood Cycling Club and leading women’s group rides. She also supports the top performing Pedal Prix teams.
