Why choose Connect Healthcare?

Most people do not need more disconnected advice. They need the right care, at the right time, from a team that can work together when needed.

At Connect Healthcare, your physiotherapist is part of an interdisciplinary allied health team. That means if your recovery would benefit from exercise physiology, podiatry, dietetics, psychology, chiropractic or other support, we can coordinate that care around you – without you having to navigate it alone.

Our goal is simple: to help you move from feeling stuck to making clear, supported progress.

Andrew works with people experiencing pain, injury and movement concerns, with particular interests in sports injuries, neck and lower back pain, knee osteoarthritis and active rehabilitation.

He takes a practical approach to care, combining assessment, hands-on treatment where appropriate, dry needling and progressive exercise-based rehabilitation to help people move better, build confidence and get back to what matters.

Andrew is GLA:D certified and can support people with hip and knee osteoarthritis using evidence-informed education and exercise-based care.

Outside the clinic, Andrew enjoys footy, soccer, training at the gym, spending time with family and friends, and surfing at Middleton.

Physiotherapy FAQs

Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?

No. You can book a private physiotherapy appointment without a referral.

Can I use a GP care plan?

Yes. We accept GP Chronic Condition Management referrals. If you have a valid care plan, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate. Concession card holders with a valid care plan may also be eligible for a reduced gap. Our team can confirm this when you book.

Can I claim on private health?

Yes. If your private health cover includes physiotherapy, you may be able to claim on the spot. Your rebate depends on your insurer and level of cover.

What happens at my first appointment?

Your physiotherapist will discuss your symptoms and goals, assess your movement and function, explain what may be contributing to your concern, and help you understand the best next steps.

Is physiotherapy right for my concern?

That’s okay if you’re not sure. Your physiotherapist will assess your concern, explain what may be contributing to it, and help you understand the best next steps. If another type of care would be more appropriate, we can help connect you with the right support within our broader allied health team.

What does a physiotherapy appointment cost?

Physiotherapy fees vary depending on your appointment type and whether you are eligible for concession rates or a Medicare rebate through a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan. Our team can confirm your expected out-of-pocket cost before your appointment so there are no surprises.
