Receptionist
‘My name is Prisca and I am receptionist at Connect Healthcare and am currently studying Occupational Therapy. What drew me to a career in allied health in general was my love for human anatomy and a desire to help people (without all the blood and gore medicine or nursing brings).
In Occupational Therapy, it is very client centred and our main aim is to help people do all the various daily things they want or need to and I find that so meaningful! In particular, finding creative ways of helping people go back to doing things they are passionate about, especially when they think they cannot, is something I am looking forward to.
When I have a bit of free time, I like to hang out with friends and family, crochet, or go adventuring to find the best lookout to catch a sunset.’
