Credentialled Diabetes Educator & Credentialled Consultant Pharmacist

Rema Alsaiedy is a Credentialled Diabetes Educator and a Credentialled Consultant Pharmacist with more than 20 years’ experience in medication management and patient care.

Since graduating from pharmacy in 2004, Rema has worked across community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy and aged care settings, giving her a broad understanding of how medication, lifestyle, chronic health conditions and day-to-day life all interact.

Rema became a credentialed consultant pharmacist in 2010 and a credentialed diabetes educator in 2022. She is passionate about supporting people with diabetes to better understand their condition, medications and management options, while helping them feel more confident in making informed decisions about their health.

Her approach is holistic, practical and person-centred. Rema considers not only the clinical aspects of diabetes care, but also the emotional, social and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health outcomes.

At Connect Healthcare, Rema works collaboratively with clients and the broader care team to provide education, support and guidance for people living with diabetes, pre-diabetes and related metabolic health concerns.
